Wow. WHAT a wedding day, you guys. When Katie and Caleb contacted me last year to see if I had their date open, I was over the moon. I’ve had the privilege of photographing several people in their family and friends circle, and let me tell you - these are good people. They’re kind and welcoming and encouraging and FUN and rowdy in all the right ways. These are people that love each other fiercely, and even before experiencing Katie and Caleb together as a unit I had a feeling they’d be the same way. I definitely wasn’t wrong.
Katie is an absolute ray of sunshine, and that’s exactly what comes to mind when I look at her in these photos. All smiles and happy tears and deep, real love for Caleb and for all of her family and friends. Caleb is a chill, funny guy with a beautifully palpable soft spot for his sweetheart. Separately, these two are likable and wonderful to be around; but when they’re together, you can’t help but smile and picture all the life adventures they’re going to embark upon together. They so clearly bring out the best in one another.
The wedding day itself couldn’t have been more perfect. An uncharacteristically warm and sunny day in March, a perfectly-kept timeline where we never felt rushed or stressed, a group of awesome people surrounding the bride and groom at all times fueling them with smiles and drinks, and a good few rounds of happy crying. This day and this couple feels like sunshine to me.
