Wow, what an unforgettable wedding day this was at the beautiful Pinecroft Mansion at Crosley Estate. Lauren and Will decided to do things their own way for their day. From foregoing a bridal party in favor of casually hanging out with their best people all day, to putting their sweet naked cat Kevin in a tuxedo to be carried down the aisle, to speeches that made the whole guest list laugh to the point of tears, to a Skyline-themed wedding cake… every aspect of the day was quintessentially them. It felt like taking a step inside the joy, love, and humor of their relationship. While Will and Lauren are wonderfully funny, lighthearted people, they also have an incredibly deep love for one another. Photographing their day gave me a glimpse into the depth and intimacy of their relationship. One of my favorite moments of the day was their first look. Before turning to see each other, they stood back-to-back and read the love letters they’d written one another, cycling between giggles and tears as they read. That’s what the whole day felt like: loads of joy, fun, and laughter perfectly mixed with heartfelt moments and overflowing emotions.
