Sean & Erika {Cincinnati Ohio Wedding Photography}

When it rains all morning but stops as soon as it’s time to take photos, you know it’s going to be a good day (and that your photographer was praying suuuuper hard that we’d have a window of no precipitation during picture time.) We began Erika and Sean’s wedding day at the beautiful AC hotel where the girls hustled around doing hair and makeup and listening to the soundtracks from old Disney Channel Original Movies. There was a buzzing excitement in the air.

Once dresses were zipped, shoes strapped on, and touch ups made, we headed to the rooftop of the hotel for some beautiful cincinnati views. The chilly breeze didn’t keep us from taking some awesome photos before heading to the church where the girls relaxed as we did the guys’ photos. Sean and his groomsmen were cool and calm and goofy, the perfect combination for staying at ease before the ceremony.

The ceremony at Covenant First Presbyterian Church in Cincinnati was beautiful. Sweet smiles and happy tears filled the room as Erika and Sean promised their forevers to one another. They were so sweet and sincere and lovely.

My favorite part of the day was during Sean & Erika’s photos. The newlyweds were so incredibly tender and loving with one another, cuddling to stay cozy from the breeze and letting it sink in that they were officially MARRIED as we ventured from Piatt Park to downtown Cincinnati and finally onto Roebling Bridge. Any nerves or anxiousness that were present earlier in the day melted away as they held one another. I barely had to guide them on what to do in front of the camera - they were just that cuddly and romantic.

As the sun set the reception began: delicious food, high energy, and LOTS of dancing (to Taylor Swift songs, of course.) It was the picture perfect ending to a day they (and I) will remember forever.

Mr. & Mrs. Mcshay, THANK YOU for allowing me to be a part of your best day ever. I wish you many, many years of the same joy and excitement you experienced on this day. <3
