One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is that I get to meet, learn about, and experience a little bit of life with my clients. I love catching a glimpse into their lifestyles, their values, and their dynamic. Learning these little details gives me some insight into how I should photograph a person or a family, and with this family I've had the privilege of working with them in a few different stages of life. From announcement pictures when they were expecting their first "little pumpkin," to their first maternity session together, to newborn photos of beautiful Sophia, to her one-year photos... For the sake of reminiscing, here's a shot from each of those sessions.
It's so crazy to me that last week I photographed their second maternity session. How incredible and beautiful it is to see Hannah and Joey build their family!
It was an overcast and humid day for their session, but we stayed cool in the beautiful, grand halls and cloisters of the Dayton Art Institute. The window light in some of those rooms is absolutely magical and beautiful and.... well, I'll just let you see the magnificence for yourself. ;)
If you've ever experienced an LDP maternity session, you know that I'm a sucker for a good baby bump. Just look at Hannah's. ^^^ #perfection
See that magical light I was talking about? It makes me happy. I hope these photos of an adorable, amazing, growing family in magical light make you happy, too.
If you want to see another recent maternity session, you can check it out here. Thanks so much for taking the time to hang out on my blog! You are so appreciated.
With gratitude,
Lauren
